Resilient Modular Flooring Installation

This comprehensive course is designed to provide in-depth training on subfloor preparation and modular resilient flooring installation.

Day 1: Subfloor Preparation Gain a thorough understanding of the foundational aspects of subfloor preparation.

Days 2 and 3: Modular Resilient Installation Develop the skills necessary for successful installation of modular resilient flooring, including click, loose-lay, and glue-down products.

Beginner-level Wood Floor Installation

 

The beginner-level Wood Floor Installation Course covers the essentials of installing wood flooring, starting with the preparation of the subfloor. Participants will learn how to assess and prepare the base, ensuring it is “flat, smooth and dry”, which is crucial for a successful installation. The course also includes detailed instructions on the different types of wood flooring, such as hardwood and engineered wood, and the various installation methods like glue-down, nail-down, and floating floors. Additionally, the course will cover the use of essential tools and materials needed for installation, and how to handle transitions, edges, and corners. This course is designed for individuals looking to begin a career in flooring installation.

A written test and hands-on training are involved.

Certification achieved with successful completion of the course and a passing score on the test.
